My name is Sophia Derrig-Palumbo and I founded this non-profit as my Gold Award project for Girl Scouts. Domestic violence is extremely prevalent in today's world. My name is Sophia Derrig-Palumbo and I founded this non-profit as my Gold Award project for Girl Scouts. Domestic violence is extremely prevalent in today's world. I started this nonprofit organization to kickstart my movement of spreading awareness to and educating people on the topic of domestic violence. My passion for this area of discussion began with a pair of pajamas. Victims who suffer from domestic violence at times flee to shelters, usually leaving in the middle of the night with little to no belongings. Getting something brand new like a pair of pajamas provides these victims with a sense of hope and lets them know that someone out there cares. Pajama drives were the inspiration behind this organization. I made it my mission to expand on this foundation and take it a step further. We provide knowledgeable materials and sensible solutions. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!

Our goal is to equip people with the necessary tools and information to not only shed a light on domestic violence, but also be able to fight back against it. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference.
